Foreign situation:
Over 100 years ago, foreign countries began to extensively utilize mechanical mining and processing of stone, such as the Carrara region in Verona, Italy. Formed European processing and manufacturing centers represented by Verona in Italy and North American processing and manufacturing centers represented by Orlando in the United States. In recent years, Brazil, India, and South Africa have developed their own resource advantages, and the stone industry has shifted from simply supplying raw materials to processing and manufacturing stone.
Domestic situation:
The use of mechanical mining and processing in China has only been around for over 50 years, with rapid development in the past 20 years. Although it started relatively late, the stone industry has developed rapidly after introducing advanced mining and processing technologies and equipment from abroad. Relying on abundant resources and processing cost advantages, it quickly occupied the international market, gradually shifting the world's stone processing center to China. Formed stone processing, production, and sales distribution centers such as Shuitou in Fujian, Yunfu in Guangdong, and Laizhou in Shandong, with tens of thousands of stone enterprises.
Development status:
The huge development of the stone industry has also refined the production organization structure and achieved socialized large-scale production. Derived from stone raw materials, rough boards, rough polished boards, engineering boards, wall and floor tiles, irregular stones, stone carvings, mosaics, composite boards, artificial stones and other products, a series of fields have emerged, including mining, production and processing, mechanical equipment, auxiliary chemical products, design, construction and installation, and nursing.
